Mr. Martin is the founder and President of SDM Consulting Group. He has over 20 years of experience delivering technology-enabled business transformations for private and public sector clients. Mr. Martin started his management consulting career in 2003 as an independent consultant establishing himself as a successful business transformation consultant, which eventually led him to Capgemini Consulting’s US Government Consulting practice. At Capgemini he worked closely with Government clients supporting their IT strategy and planning, acquisition support, project management, organizational change management, business process improvement, and system implementation needs. He has worked with a broad range of public and commercial sector clients including DOJ, DoD, USDA, The Federal Reserve Bank, Bank of America, and Web.com. Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing from Southern University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Mercer University's Stetson School of Business and Economics.
Vice President
Mr. Tsiopanas is Vice President of SDM Consulting Group. Mr. Tsiopanas started his career in 1996 with Ernst & Young’s management consulting practice, where he served commercial clients for seven years before moving to the Government sector. Mr. Tsiopanas was a Director in the federal consulting practice of Gartner, the world’s largest IT research and advisory firm. Mr. Tsiopanas enjoys working as a trusted advisor with his clients to help them make critical decisions based on rigorous analysis and direct experience. He works closely with clients every day to lead them through complex decisions and development of sophisticated acquisition strategies. Mr. Tsiopanas is a thought leader in Government acquisition who shares his knowledge through speaking engagements, and whose knowledge and advice is sought out by colleagues and clients alike. Mr. Tsiopanas holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management Science and Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
